Rio Tours - Personal Tour Guide in Rio de Janeiro

		Hi, my name is Marcio Guedes and I have been a licensed tour guide in Rio since 2003. I am a native of Rio de Janeiro who lived and studied four years in the United States and one year in Europe. I am also a registered dietitian and a teacher of English as a foreign language. I'm available for airport transfers, all tourist attractions, restaurants, beaches, shopping, nightlife and any off-the-beaten-path location you might be interested in seeing. As your personal guide it is my intention to offer you absolute flexibility to do exactly what you want to do in Rio, when you want to do it, and to do it at your very own pace. Fees for 1 to 5 persons in a car: 250 USD for a full-day tour (8 hours), 150 USD for a half-day tour (4 hours) and 70 USD for airport transfers (the maximum number of persons depends on the amount of luggage). That includes my services as a driver-guide, the fuel and a comfortable air-conditioned Zafira minivan within Rio. Fees for up to 8 persons in a van with driver: 500 USD for a full-day tour (8 hours), 300 USD for a half-day tour (4 hours) and 110 USD for airport transfers (the maximum number of persons depends on the amount of luggage). That includes an air conditioned van, the fuel, a driver and a tour guide for the tours (transfers are done by a Portuguese speaking driver but if you'd like to have a guide please add 70 USD to the transfer price). Having one person drive and another guide is very important on busy days. It allows the guide to focus on guiding, stop anywhere and not waste any time trying to find parking, saving precious time to see more sights. Larger vehicles for bigger groups can be arranged, from full size vans to buses. I can customize the tours according to your interests and add some of the off the beaten path places too.
